Thank you so much for the insight you provided in the design of the playground for our child care centre which opened in January 2013.
You were able to hear what we wanted to do and draw up a usable plan that matched our vision. You also saw area’s in our design that could be better utilised and came up with wonderful ideas. Our playground inspires imagination and caters for all the developmental needs of our children. It is so lovely to see children utilise this space and so fulfilling to study the variety of developmental needs that are being met.
We enjoyed sharing our excitement of this project with you and loved the collaborative atmosphere you created within our team that led to achieving (and exceeding!) the results we were aiming for.
The playground that was created is a natural, engaging, unique and inspiring space that quickly became a point of interest for families and children. The success of our project, including consistently high occupancy and reaching full capacity in the first 10months of operation, is largely attributed to this engaging space.

During the time I have worked with Pam Maclean as the facilitator of our Workshop Series for Kindergarten teachers in Long Day Care I have found her to conduct business in a professional and conscientious manner.

As new owners starting a childcare centre, we really needed help to understand and navigate our way through the many facets of the legislation and service set up process. Pam helped us through all steps and stages required. She was able to guide us through all stages from site assessment and application for approvals and licensing to centre documentation, staff interviews and induction right up to open day and beyond.
Throughout, Pam listened to our thoughts and incorporated our ideas into the final product. Her flexible service gave us the opportunity to undertake some steps ourselves in order to feel more involved and to cut costs. Pam put us at ease very quickly and worked with us to achieve our business goals.
Income has increased markedly, debt has all but disappeared, staff issues have settled and standards have lifted throughout our centre. Our outdoor and indoor spaces have had a much needed upgrade and revamp at a cost we could afford. Our families love our new play spaces and it attracts new clients to our service.
We have a much more positive profile in the community with more enrolment inquiries every day. We have even been told that we are now regarded as the number one centre locally – very satisfying to hear. Child’s Play Consultancy Services has made a huge difference to our business and centre future.
